UNL Extension is committed to helping large-scale agricultural producers and small farm owners. Our research-based programs can help you produce a safe and wholesome food supply that is environmentally friendly and profitable, learn how to protect and manage water resources, better manage your rural living environment, and more.

A well known and highly regarded resource for agricultural marketing and management information is UNL Extension’s Market Journal. This program is televised weekly on Nebraska NET stations and available at no charge via the web. Market Journal provides current grain/livestock market commentary and analysis; weather, climate, and soil moisture updates; practical advice from seasoned, working producers; and more.

Another resource that is especially helpful for small farm owners is the Acreage & Small Farm Insights e-newsletter from the UNL Extension Acreage team. This monthly electronic newsletter provides timely information to help acreage and small farm owners manage their rural living environment.
