  • UNL’s Center for Applied Rural Innovation (CARI) offers programs in the areas of Business Development, Information Technology, and Sustainable Agriculture.
  • The NebraskaEDGE (Enhancing, Developing and Growing Entrepreneurs) program offers community-based entrepreneurial training program designed to encourage the expansion of small businesses, including agricultural operations.
  • The Nebraska Rural Initiative’s goals are to originate and support research that benefits community, regional and economic development in nonmetropolitan areas of Nebraska, and spur innovation, investment and wise use of resources to benefit Nebraska.
