Candidate to Interview for the Extension Dean, Director PositionDr. Don Adams will be coming to campus on May 1-3rd to interview for the position of Dean and Director of UNL Extension. Dr. Adams is no stranger to the University of Nebraska as he has an impressive history with us as a member of the faculty and most recently has had tremendous success in leading our efforts in the West Central district as director.
Adams has been the District Director of the UNL West Central Research and Extension Center since 2006. Prior to that Adams served as Interim Director, UNL West Central Research and Extension Center (2004-2006); Faculty Coordinator for the Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory (1995-2006); Professor, UNL Department of Animal Science (1990-Present); Interim Director, USDA-ARS Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory, Miles City, Montana (1989-1990); Instructor, Miles Community College, Miles City, MT. Taught a 4 hour introductory animal science course, spring semester, approximately (1984-1988); and Animal Scientist, USDA-ARS Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory, Miles City, Montana (1981-1990).
